Very frustrating! I ended up self-publishing my two most recent books and the frustrating thing about self publishing is (a) the amount of marketing you have to do, and (b) the fact that it’s never going to get into the catalogues that bookshops buy from.
Have you considered Unbound? They’re a different publishing model.
And once again: please please please post your stuff on here in the actual WordPress editing tool rather than as an attached PDF.
Thanks, I’ll try to learn that. As for Unbound, they were keen but wanted me to raise £15,000 to cover the costs. I thought that was both outrageous and very unlikely given my situation. But I may go back to them.
